It started on Prestel's viewdata service as part of Viewfax 258 and in 1997 moved to the internet.

The website is edited by John Cull, former contributor to the BBC's Airport series.

Waveguide is provided free and without the requirement to register. It is not produced for financial gain. We always try to remain impartial in our news reports.

We aim to feature news from all aspects of the broadcasting industry - television, radio, cable and satellite.

The website is updated on a daily basis and it is our aim to publish news as soon as it has been received and verified by Waveguide.
