Jade Goody In The House

Jade Goody has joined India's version of Big Brother - called Bigg Boss.

She was introduced to viewers by Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.

In a small recorded introduction, Goody said: "Hi I'm Jade Goody and what happened between me and Shilpa Shetty is in the past and I'm not proud of it.

"I know I behaved wrongly but that was my yesterday. Today I have changed for the better."

It is thought that Goody will earn £100,000 from appearing in the show.

When asked by Shetty why she was joining Bigg Boss, Goody replied: "Because the people of India only see a small amount of me and I think that, for myself, I want the people to see not just this small amount, I am more than this..."

New Idents For Dave

A range of new on-screen idents are to be introduced by UKTV for Dave to celebrate a year since its successful rebrand from UKTV G2.

The broadcaster is planning to launch a range of new promotional idents for the channel on October 15, the first anniversary of its relaunch as Dave.

Four new idents have been created, by agency Red Bee Media. They feature a group of twentysomethings engaged in slightly surreal activities, such as playing cowboys and indians in a giant house and firing one of their number from a circus cannon.

The four new idents - "Cannonball", "Cowboys and Indians", "King of the Swingers" and "Wacky Races" - will augment the six that have been used to promote the channel since it relaunched last October.

Dave's marketing manager Julia Restall said: "We wanted to further explore the world of Dave, a subversive place where anything can happen.

"We want to keep surprising viewers and be innovative and push the creative a bit more this time."
