Britney Spears US TV
Row
Britney Spears has sparked a feud among US television network
executives over her forthcoming comeback performance.
The singer has reportedly signed on to sing live in New York's Bryant Park
on US TV show Good Morning America (GMA) to promote her forthcoming Circus
album and single, Womanizer.
And according to the New York Post, executives at rival networks are
"fuming" the show has landed Spears.
A source told the newspaper: "Everybody wanted her - she was the big get -
but GMA and ABC out-foxed the (rival morning show) Today and NBC."
Spears has reportedly not yet decided whether she will do an interview
during her GMA slot. She is set to take the stage on December 2.

Matt Lucas - Gay
Divorcee
Little Britain star Matt Lucas became the first celebrity gay
divorcee yesterday.
The 34-year-old comedian was granted a 'quickie' divorce in
just 75 seconds from his partner Kevin McGee, 31, on the grounds of McGee's
unreasonable behaviour.
The dissolution of the 18 month civil partnership, which was
rubber-stamped alongside 30 others in the High Court, could cost Lucas
around £5million.
Neither attended the hearing but court papers revealed Lucas
stated that although McGee's behaviour had not affected his health it was
still 'continuing'.
When the split was announced in June this year Lucas' busy
work schedule was blamed for the couple growing apart.
They married in a civil ceremony in December 2006 followed by
a lavish pantomime themed reception at a 17th century palace, attended by
guests including Elton John, Courtney Love, David Walliams , Paul O'Grady
and Barbara Windsor.

Concern Over Kerry Katona TV Appearance
An appearance by Kerry Katona on ITV1's This Morning caused
viewers to call in with concerns about her health after she slurred her
words during an interview.
The singer's manner prompted host Phillip Schofield to ask: "You don't seem
right to me... Your speech is a bit slurred, how are you feeling?"
Katona seemed surprised by the question, but blamed prescription drugs she
had taken to help her sleep.
Publicist Max Clifford said: "There's no way she should have been allowed to
do that show.
"Had I been with her, she wouldn't have done," he added.
"I must admit after today and in view of what's gone on over the last couple
of months, I am increasingly concerned for her health and happiness."
Katona's appearance was meant to promote a new MTV reality
show, Whole Again, which documents her recent cosmetic surgery.
But several minutes into the interview, Schofield said: "Our phone has
already gone in the gallery from people in ITV who've said 'is she okay?'
The former Atomic Kitten star insisted she was "absolutely fine".
"All it is is my medication. I've never been happier, I swear to God,
healthwise I'm fine."
Katona added she had been taking Chlorpromazine, which is an anti-psychotic
drug.
Schofield said he was only asking her “what people watching
at home would be thinking” and that producers were telling him via his
earpiece that they were already receiving calls about her behaviour.
Co-host Fern Britton also asked the star about recent claims in a magazine
that she had been drinking while on holiday.
Katona responded: “I don’t understand what you’re trying to say?”
To which Britton answered: “Have you got rid of one addiction by replacing
it with another? Is it alcohol?”
A smiling but obviously rattled Katona answered: “No, not at all.
“I’m on holiday in Spain and I’m allowed to have a drink, aren’t I?”
Both Britton and Schofield assured her they were not insinuating she had
done anything wrong, to which she replied: “Oh right, because I thought you
were trying to find out if I’m an alcoholic now.”
