This Morning

This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has reportedly told his bosses at ITV that he wants Holly Willoughby to replace Fern Britton as his co-host on the daily programme.

Since Britton announced in March that she would be leaving ITV1's flagship daytime show this summer, executives have been looking for a suitable replacement.

According to reports, Schofield has been trying to convince them to give the job to his Dancing on Ice co-host Willoughby.

Others in the frame are Fiona Phillips, Kate Garraway, Ruth Langsford, Gaby Roslin, Myleene Klass and, most recently, Big Brother host Davina McCall.
