US TV Deal
Amanda Holden has reportedly signed a £250,000 deal to appear
on American TV channel CBS.
The Britain's Got Talent judge has been offered the job of UK correspondent
for the show, reports have said
The 38-year-old TV presenter will cover entertainment items for The Early
Show, a daytime lifestyle programme similar to Britain's GMTV.
She was asked to guest as co-anchor on the show last month
after impressing TV executives with a series of interviews she gave to the
show in May.
A US TV source said: "We absolutely love her. She has great charisma and a
fantastic cut-glass English accent.
"We couldn't think of anyone better for the job."
