Public To Choose New Oxo Family

The public is to vote in a contest to find a new Oxo family to recreate one of television's most famous adverts.

The original family, headed by mum played by Lynda Bellingham, featured in a series of adverts over 16 years before the campaign ended in 1999.

The five Oxo Factor finalists will see their videos shown online and TV. The winner will be announced during an ad break in The X Factor on December 12.
