Celebrity Big
Brother
The final series of Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother started
last night with Vinnie Jones favourite to win, according to bookmaker
Ladbrokes.
The footballer-turned-actor, one of 11 celebrities to enter the Big Brother
house on Sunday night, has been made 5/2 favourite to win the show.
Others housemates include actor Stephen Baldwin, actress Stephanie Beacham
and former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.
The music world is represented by rap star Lady Sovereign, singers Sisqo and
Dane Bowers and Swedish DJ Basshunter.
Cage fighter Alex Reid, glamour model Nicola T and Ekaterina Ivanova - the
ex-girlfriend of Rolling Stones member Ronnie Wood - complete the line-up.
Minutes after arriving in the house, the celebrities were handed their first
task.
It was revealed that a Mini had been parked in the garden and the
contestants were invited to see how many of their number could squeeze
inside.
The celebrities were warned that anyone who was not inside the car within
five minutes would face dire consequences.
Jones is believed to be the highest paid housemate, with some
news outlets claiming he is being paid £350,000 for taking part.
Bookmakers give Bowers, Baldwin and Basshunter - real name
Jonas Erik Altberg - 7/1 odds.
A portion of proceeds from viewers' votes this year will be donated to the
Comic Relief charity, benefactor of the first Celebrity Big Brother series.

Martine McCutcheon
Former EastEnders star Martine McCutcheon has admitted she
has not seen an episode of the soap for over two years.
The actress - who played Tiffany Mitchell in the soap said she hasn't tuned
in since her old friend Patsy Palmer returned as Bianca Jackson in 2008.
And she confessed that she had been put off the show by the increased number
of episodes and characters.
"I'd say the minute you do a certain amount of episodes a week, and the
minute you've got loads of characters, it's hard to care about every single
one for every single episode," McCutcheon said.
"When I was in it there were two episodes a week, with a Sunday omnibus.
"There were a lot fewer characters so people cared about you more, and went
on your journey more.
"Now you feel there are some people in some soaps just because it fills up
the time.
The actress - who recently published her first novel, The Mistress - left
the soap in 1998 after her character was killed on New Year's Eve.
