Jonathan Ross Misses Radio Show
Jonathan Ross abandoned his Radio 2 show yesterday after
being struck down by a suspected case of swine flu.
The 49-year-old host, who was replaced at short notice by
actors David Tennant and Catherine Tate, said on his Twitter site last night
that he had been prescribed the anti-swine flu drug Tamiflu.
The talk show host was struck down by flu which left him unable to record
his radio programme
Ross wrote: 'Hello. Big thanks to David and Catherine for
stepping in. I have been given Tamiflu by the doctor. Still feel ghastly.'
Ross's flu appears to have intensified over the course of the week and he
has indicated that members of his family have also been affected.
He recorded his Friday BBC One show on Thursday but by Friday
morning, when Ross was due to record his radio show, he contacted the BBC
and said he didn't feel well enough to present it.
