New C4 Daytime Show For Phil Spencer
Phil Spencer comes to the aid of homeowners across the UK
trapped in properties they just cannot seem to sell in a new daytime series
for Channel 4.
In Phil Spencer: Secret Agent, Spencer will be sent in to sell houses stuck
on the market. But before he meets the struggling homeowners he will don his
surveyor's hat to assess the property, looking at it through the eyes of a
buyer, as well as researching the local area and housing market.
The series will have a four-week run in October.
Phil Spencer said: "Taking on a project to help get the housing market
moving again is incredibly exciting. By working right across the country
advising both buyers and sellers I'll be trying to broker as many deals as
possible. It's a big challenge, but my aim is to make a real difference in
the market. And just to up the ante I'm always going to be focusing on one
particularly hard home to shift."

Michaela Strachan On Autumnwatch
Michaela Strachan is joining the BBC's Autumnwatch Live as a
replacement for Kate Humble.
The move means the star will be reunited with her former Really Wild Show
co-host Chris Packham who took over the reins from Bill Oddie in 2009.
Michaela, who has also had stints on Countryfile, will appear alongside
Chris and Martin Hughes-Games.
She said: "I am really excited to be joining the Autumnwatch Live team, it's
a great opportunity to take a close look at the UK's amazing wildlife across
the season.
"It's always such a pleasure making programmes for an appreciative audience
and I know that Autumnwatch has such loyal and enthusiastic viewers. I'm
looking forward to working with Martin, and being reunited with Chris - he
has such incredible knowledge and we've always had a great relationship."

Bruce Forsyth
Sir Bruce Forsyth has said that their is "room" for both
Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor on TV.
BBC One controller Danny Cohen has confirmed that the two Saturday night
shows will not clash.
However, Forsyth has said he thinks the ballroom dance competition is more
family-friendly than The X Factor.
He told the TV Times: It's probably the only family show on TV, and I'm
including The X Factor in that, because we get a very varied audience from
children to old people.
"It's what I've been used to all my life, working to family audiences,
whereas The X Factor is mainly watched by teenagers.
"They get wonderful ratings and good luck to them, there's room for two big
shows on television and I'm so glad that we're both on."
