Erotica
Forced To Change Theme
Organisers of the adult lifestyle show Erotica have changed
plans to give the event a Strictly Come Dancing theme after the BBC
threatened legal action.
The show had been billed Strictly Erotica by organisers.
Leaflets also featured two former dancers from Strictly Come Dancing, Hanna
Haarala and Andrew Cuerden, posing under a glitter ball.
Spokesman Dan Kirkby said: "We are now changing the name but our plans to
make it a dance-themed show will continue."
A BBC spokesman previously said: "The BBC takes the protection of its brands
extremely seriously and we believe that the association of our
well-established family programme with such an event is clearly damaging.
"We have written to the organisers of the event in question asking that they
remove any reference to Strictly Come Dancing and the use of the glitter
ball motif which is a well-established part of the show's brand."
The three-day adult event takes place in November at London's Olympia.

Simon
Cowell - Knight Rider Role?
David Hasselhoff wants to resurrect Knight Rider with Simon
Cowell voicing the show's iconic talking car.
The actor-and-singer wants to make a film of the 80s TV series and he wants
his crime-fighting character Michael Knight's super-powered car KITT, which
could speak, to be voiced by The X Factor star.
Hasselhoff thinks Cowell's firm tones and English accent would perfectly
suit the vehicle, which was voiced in the originally series by William
Daniels.
Speaking of his plans, Hasselhoff told a newspaper: "It's a great show, it
was a fun show. I've got quite a few quid to buy the rights so we'll see
what happens."

Derren Brown
Derren Brown returns to Channel 4 later this month with The
Experiments, a new four part series.
Each stand-alone episode asks and answers a single question
featuring the usual Derren Brown mixture of stunts, magic, illusion,
suggestion and thought-provoking entertainment combined with tried and
tested psychological experiments to illustrate how easily our behaviour can
be manipulated.
In the first show in the series on Friday October 21, Brown investigates
hypnosis and asks if someone could be hypnotised into a killing a celebrity.
Is this really possible?
