Emmerdale Actor
Quits
Actor Danny Miller has announced that he will leave Emmerdale
next year.
The actor – who plays troubled gay character Aaron Livesy in
Emmerdale – has announced he will be leaving the series in spring 2012 to
"explore other roles".
In a statement, he said: "It has been an incredibly difficult decision but
after three years playing Aaron and much soul-searching, I am eager to
explore other roles.
"I am so grateful to 'Emmerdale' for the opportunity that I have been given
and have loved every moment. I will miss everyone enormously but this might
not be the last we see of Aaron."
Series producer Stuart Blackburn admitted he and everyone involved with the
soap are disappointed Miller has decided to leave, but has promised Aaron
will exit the village with a bang.
Blackburn said: "We completely respect Danny's decision and are very
grateful for the hard work and commitment he has brought to his role as
Aaron. We wish him all the best for the future and in the meantime there is
still plenty more drama to come from Aaron well into 2012."

She won't be as good as Holly, she just doesn't have that
sweet, relaxed, family friendly vine that Holly does.

Dancing On Ice
Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley will host the new
series of Dancing on Ice when the show returns next year.
The show's seventh series starts in January 2012 with a new line-up of
celebrity skaters. Last year’s show averaged 9.0 million viewers across its
twelve week run in the winter of 2011, with the most watched show attracting
a peak of over 11 million viewers.
Christine Bleakley joined ITV in summer 2010. She will also co-host ITV1’s
Christmas entertainment and charity event, Text Santa, alongside Phillip
Schofield this December.
ITV Director of Television, Peter Fincham said: “Dancing on Ice continues to
be one of ITV1’s most successful entertainment hits and I’m delighted that
Christine will be joining Phillip Schofield to host next year’s show.”
Christine Bleakley said: “I've always been a total Dancing On Ice addict so
it really is hard to sum up how excited I am to be joining the team. My only
concern was what a big task it is to follow the brilliant Holly and I can
only promise her, Phillip and everyone at home that they couldn't have a
bigger fan of the show on board."
Phillip Schofield said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Christine is on board
and I’m really excited about the new series.”
