Olympic Presenters Announced
The BBC has announced its line-up of presenters for its
coverage of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The presentation team, which will be based in a studio or at the various
venues, will front the comprehensive coverage throughout the Games on BBC
One and BBC Three.
On BBC One Breakfast there will be a combination of Bill Turnbull, Hazel
Irvine, Sian Williams and Chris Hollins.
They will be followed by Mishal Husain from 09:00-11:30
with live sport venue presenters on site including: Clare Balding
(swimming), Jonathan Edwards (athletics) and John Inverdale (rowing).
Continuing after 11:30 through to 16:00, the daytime presenters will
include: Matt Baker (also on site at gymnastics), Clare Balding (also on
site from diving, equestrian and swimming), Jake Humphrey (also on site from
track cycling) and Hazel Irvine.
From 16:00 each day, Sue Barker take over before handing over to Gary
Lineker for the evening show at 19:00.
Gabby Logan will bring together the sport and late night events from across
the UK from 22:35 until midnight.
On BBC Three a combination of Manish Bhasin, Rishi Persad and Sonali Shah
will welcome morning viewers and take them through the afternoon up to
19:00. Jake Humphrey will anchor the channel between 19:00-23:00.
Huw Edwards will once again lead the
Opening and Closing ceremonies.
The full BBC line-up including radio, TV reporters, TV commentators and TV
pundits will be released at a later date.

will.i.am Joins
The Voice
US producer and songwriter will.i.am is the second coach to
be confirmed on The Voice UK.

will.i.am will join Jessie J plus two more celebrity coaches yet to be
announced in the BBC version of the hit format.
will.i.am said: "I'm proud to be doing The Voice UK because the UK was the
first place I saw success. It’s the place I'm the most creative outside of
home."
BBC One Controller Danny Cohen said: "I am thrilled that will.i.am has
signed up to be a coach on The Voice. He is a huge star who will bring a
unique creativity to the show.”
will.i.am is the founder of The Black Eyed Peas, who have sold 31 million
albums and 58 million singles worldwide, and has won seven Grammy awards.
The Voice UK will be presented by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates and is
scheduled to begin next spring. The remaining two celebrity coaches will be
announced in the near future.

Stella
McCartney In Ab Fab Sir Paul McCartney's
designer daughter Stella is to make her acting debut by playing
herself in the revival of Absolutely Fabulous.
Jennifer Saunders, the show's star and creator
appreared at McCartney's flagship London store in character as Edina
Monsoon on Tuesday to switch on the Christmas lights, and now it has
emerged the designer will appear in one of the comedy's upcoming
Christmas specials.
McCartney told Vogue.co.uk, "It's not exactly my
idea of fun, but it's
Ab Fab, and how can you say no to
Ab Fab?"
The episode will be filmed at the designer's
store.
McCartney will be joined by former Spice Girls
star Emma Bunton and singer Lulu, who are also set for cameos in the
special episodes.
