Whitbread - This Morning
Fatima Whitbread is to become This Morning’s latest fitness
expert.
The I’m a Celebrity star and former Olympic athlete will present Fatima’s
Fat Fight on the ITV1 daytime show from Thursday.
Over 12 weeks, Whitbread, 50, and her health and fitness team – Dr Chris
Steele and Amanda Hamilton – will put four obese volunteers through their
paces and whip them into shape. She will be following in the footsteps of
GMTV’s Mr Motivator, Derrick Evans, in the 90s.
This Morning’s editor Adam Vandermark said: “Fatima showed us her steely
toughness on I’m a Celebrity, so she is the ideal person to get our four
overweight viewers back into shape.”

EastEnders
The changes in Stratford, east London, for the 2012 Olympics,
will, from tomorrow, be shown in the opening titles of the BBC's EastEnders.
The new graphics show the Olympic Park, including the stadium.
Also, as the credits roll for the end of the programme,
viewers will hear a new version of the title music to mark the end of an
era. It will be the final appearance for long-serving cast member Pam St
Clement, who plays Pat Evans.
A special version has been used to mark major occasions in Walford over the
years, known as 'Julia's Theme'.
Now composer Simon May has created another version entitled 'Pat's Theme' to
bid farewell to the no-nonsense character.
An EastEnders spokesperson said: "As we say farewell to a legend of over 26
years we welcome in what will be a truly remarkable New Year in E20 by
adding the Olympic Village into the opening title sequence."
