Cheryl Cole TV Award
Cheryl Cole has been named Best TV Judge in this year's
Virgin Media TV Awards beating off competition from her former boss and
co-panellist Simon Cowell, who landed in second place.

Although the 28-year-old singer did not appear in the last series of The X
Factor, she triumphed over current judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos
and Kelly Rowland.
Meanwhile, Doctor Who was the big winner, bagging a total of
five awards, including TV Show of the Year and Most Explosive TV Moment of
the Year, while Karen Gillan - who plays the Time Lord's assistant Amy Pond
in the sci-fi series - won both Hottest Female and Best Actress.
Elsewhere, ITV1's Downton Abbey won Best Drama, while Top Gear took the Best
Entertainment Show of the Year prize.
McFly drummer Harry Judd - who won this year's Strictly Come Dancing - was
awarded Reality TV Star of the Year for his stint on the BBC One show, while
the BBC was named Channel of the Year.
David Attenborough's Frozen Planet was named Documentary of the Year.
Nick Forward, editor in chief of digital entertainment at Virgin Media,
said: "With the National TV Awards just around the corner it's fantastic for
us to be able to get a sneak preview of how fans may vote when it comes to
their TV favourites."

Keith Lemon
Saturday Night
Keith Lemon has landed a primetime Saturday evening series
for ITV1 with a Surprise Surprise-style show to make viewers dreams come
true.
The Celebrity Juice host will also turn agony uncle in his series Lemonaid
as he helps members of the public with real-life problems.
Programme bosses say the funnyman - whose real name is Leigh Francis - will
be aided by a different celebrity each week in the family show.
Dan Baldwin, head of comedy entertainment at production company
talkbackThames, said: "Keith Lemon is about to demolish people's problems
and make their dreams come true - and we should all be immensely happy about
this."
The six-week series is due to be screened in the spring.
BBC One will also have a new Saturday night series with a celebrity version
of its popular quiz Pointless. It will continue to be hosted by Alexander
Armstrong and Richard Osman.
